I am an industrial designer + fine artist; skilled as a sketcher, painter, 3D draftsperson, collaborator, creative director, + entrepreneur.

For 15 years, I co-owned Anvil Studios, a boutique industrial design firm based in Seattle, where we brought over 50 products to market for clients including Microsoft and Amazon. My design work earned more than 100 international design awards and 50+ patents.

My career has taken me around the world. I've lived and worked in the US, Europe, and Asia, designing for major companies including Siemens and frog design. My design work is focused on creating manufacturable, functional, beautiful, and iconic products.

I am currently on a more artistic path, investigating abstractions of nature and organic patterns through painting. I am particularly interested in the negative space and fractal geometries created by intertwining tree branches. I am also working on a biomimicry-focused project that translates life's principles into practical guidance for industrial and product designers. I also continue to teach, mentor designers, and guest-critique at design programs while pursuing my fine art practice.
